Starting from either Hulme End (Café and Visitors Centre) or Wetton Mill this disused railway line weaves through the spectacular Manifold Valley with its tunnels and caves. To make a circular walk follow the footpath from Wetton Mill up to Butterton. The views back across the tops of the valley are not to be missed. The Black Lion Inn is a great lunch stop.
